Course description
The course highlights linguistic processes and phenomena that consistently and logically determine the development of the German language, from the emergence of Western Germanic features of the beginning of the first millennium BC and the formation of the German language community from different territorial dialects at the time of the establishment of the German Reich in X-XI centuries.
