Biography

Born in 1938 in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region. In 1955 finished Secondary School. During 1955 – 1960 studied at the Department of French Philology, Faculty of Foreign Languages,  the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. From 1961 to 1964 worked as a librarian (Foreign Literarture Department) at the V. Stefanyk Library in Lviv. During 1964 – 1966 as a laborant of the Department. Since 1966 has worked as a Lecturer of French Language. During 1972 – 1975 underwent the Post Graduate courses at the Department. In 1977 defended the thesis for scholarly degree of Candidate of Philology titling: “Suffixal Derivation of Terms in Modern French Language. (On the Material of Physical Terms)”, (scientific supervisor: Associate Professor M. A. Voutyuk). Since 1978 have worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of French Philology, Faculty of Foreign Languages. From 1992 to 1994 lectured in Angers University (France).
