Biography
Nicolai Teufel is a researcher and lecturer specializing in German language and area studies. He studied Geography and German Language and Literature at the University of Bayreuth (2008-2013). His professional experience includes research and project management at the University of Bayreuth, focusing on digitalization, international cooperation, and continuing education (2013-2023). From 2019 to 2023, he led German-Ukrainian projects such as “Learnopolis” and “Learnopolis+” with Lviv University as a project partner. Since September 2023, he has been working as a DAAD lecturer at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Nicolai Teufel’s commitment to teaching excellence was recognized by the University of Bayreuth with an award for the best teachers of the university (Goldener Rabe) in October 2017. In October 2022, he received the Klaus-Dieter Wolff-Award from the Rotary Club Bayreuth-Eremitage for his outstanding social and volunteer work in support of Ukraine.
