Davina Lang

Position: Lecturer, German Philology Department


Born in Stuttgart, Davina Lang finished Grammar school in 2009 and started her
studies at the University of Regensburg after one year of working in India,
Singapore, and England. She holds a degree in German Philology, Slavistic
Studies, and Political Science. During her education she completed study visits
and internships in Bournemouth, Cracow, and Chernivtsi. Davina Lang, in
addition, successfully studies the international Master East-West-Studies at the
Europaeum, which is the East-West Centre of the University of Regensburg. The
main emphasis of her work in Political Science is research on the democratic
system of the European Union. In Literary Studies she focuses on the
Jewish-German poetry in Bukovina. She worked in press and public relations as a
spokeswoman for various companies. Further, she works as a freelance journalist
since 2011.
Davina Lang teaches the first year at the department of German Philology at Ivan
Franko National University of Lviv.
