Benjamin Bekner Visited the Faculty

On May 4, 2018, an interesting meeting with students of the Department of French Philology took place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Benjamin Bekner, President of the Association Français Sans Frontières, has come to us for the first time. The purpose of the Association’s activities is to promote the French language and culture, to host summer camps for students, to establish professional exchanges between language teaching staff. Mr. Beckner has lectured in an interactive format on “Can you Become or Remain a Frenchman?” and managed to interest not only students but also teachers. In July this year, students will again be able to join the summer language school organized by the Association of Carpathians and volunteers from France, and thus immerse themselves in the wonderful world of French-speaking culture.
