IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF VERA RICH
The Memorial Meeting will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 5 pm in the Mirror Hall, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

The celebration will include the first public showing of the memorial

to be placed at Vera Rich’s burial place
at the Belarusian Greek Catholic Church in London.

FOR THE LOVING MEMORY OF MS.VERA (FAITH ELIZABETH JOAN) RICH
To celebrate the 81st anniversary of the birthday of Ms.Vera Rich on April 24th, a competition among the students has been announced. There are two nominations for:
1. Artistic Translation (from English into Ukrainian)
2. Translation Studies Analysis (in English).

A solemn academy dedicated to prominent theorist, brilliant interpreter of works of more than thirty literatures of the world Hryhoriy Kochur was held on November 18 in the Mirror Hall of Lviv University.

Students of the Departments of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication and Translation participated and took prizes at the V-th Interuniversity Olympiad in Translation among students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
