Students’ Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Foreign Languages

September 28-29, 2021 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages sectional meetings of the September scientific conference were held .

On September 28, at 10:00 am, the conference began with a welcoming speech by Dean Lubomyr Borakovskyi. Then, from 10:10 to 10:50, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Professor of Applied Linguistics of Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka Serhiy Zasekin presented his report on “Online Resources for Translators and Translation Editors.”

From 11:00 students presented their research in 8 sections: section of English philology, section of problems of translation studies, section of problems of contrastive linguistics and translation, section of German philology, section of intercultural communication and translation, section of Romance languages, section of classical philology and section of world literature.

This year 152 abstracts from 147 participants, including 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students and masters of 1st and 2nd years of study, were sent to the conference and published in the electronic collection of conference abstracts on the faculty website.

The final plenary session of the scientific conference took place on September 29 at 9.00, where the chairmen of the sections reported on the work of their students.
