Biography

Ms Yu. Belozyorova was born on 22.09.1976 in the city of Zaporizhia. She studied at Zaporizhian secondary school Nu 5 from 1983 to 1993 and was granted a gold-medal reward. She entered Zaporizhian State University in 1993 to study “The German Language and Literature” at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. She graduated with honours in 1998 and was awarded a qualification of philologist, teacher of German and English. After graduation in 1998 she started to work at the Chair of German Philology and also continued her post-graduate studies with a specialization 10.02.04 “The Germanic Languages”. She wrote a dissertation “Cognitive and Discourse Aspects of Time Conceptualization in the Modern German Language”, the public defense of which took place on April 14, 2005. She was awarded a title of Docent of the Chair of German Philology and Translation of Zaporizhian State University on April 14, 2011.

Since September 1, 2014 she has been working as a Docent of the Chair of German Philology at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
